Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 October 2026

KAYO is an iPhone wellness app. This policy explains what is collected and how it is used. KAYO is not a medical service and does not diagnose or prescribe treatment.

What we collect

When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the account identifier, and your name or email if you choose to share them with the app.

What you type in KAYO AI, including a name, goal, height, or weight you choose to state, is stored on that iPhone with your account on the device.

Chat messages are sent to our AI provider so a reply can be generated. Do not send passwords or sensitive medical information you do not want used for that purpose.

Water and food amounts you add on Your Day are stored on that iPhone. The app can schedule a local daily reminder on the device.

After you allow it, KAYO reads your steps, sleep, heart rate, heart rate variability, active energy, height, and weight from Apple Health to show your day. This permission is requested after you sign in, and again the next time you open the app if it was not granted. KAYO does not write to Apple Health.

What we do not do

We do not sell your information. We do not use it to advertise you to other parties. We do not request your location.

Retention and deletion

Account information on the device remains until you sign out or delete the app. To ask for help deleting information tied to your account, email support.

Children

KAYO is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly ask them for information.
